COURSE CONTENT:

The purpose of this workshop is to provide school district staff with an overview and understanding of student membership and attendance.  The training will review the compliance requirements for this content area including USFR requirements, and an understanding of how documentation is reviewed during the audit process. 

  • Understand the registration and student cumulative file requirements
  • Understand the withdrawal process for students in Arizona school districts
  • Understand the daily attendance calculations
  • Understand how to reconcile the student information system to AZEDs reports
  • Understand current statute changes that impact tracking enrollment and attendance
  • Review records retention requirements for all student attendance related records

COURSE FEE:

Member Cost: Early Registration $95.00. Registration within 10 days prior to workshop $105.00. Workshop includes continental breakfast and lunch.

Class Duration - 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

An email will be sent by AASBO the week of the class with information on class updates, materials or information requested by instructor. 

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:

Successful completion of this workshop will qualify for 6.5 CPE credit hours. You must sign in AM and PM to receive the CPE hours. CPE letter will be emailed after the course once attendance is verified. Letter may also be found in your AASBO Profile under Professional Development.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations must be submitted in writing five (5) business days prior to the class to qualify for a refund.  If you cannot attend but would like to send someone in your place please contact the AASBO Office to do so.
